The Gainesville Duck Derby 2012 is a fun, family-friendly event guaranteed to be a quackin' good time. Featuring vendors, food, a 1-mile Ducky Dash, and of course a rubber duck race, there is sure to be entertainment for all! Cheer for your ducks as they float across the course while enjoying quality time with your family. You'll go ducky for this day full of smiles and also get to support a great cause!
All proceeds will go to support Children's Home Society of Florida and the Child Advocacy Center. Committed to every child's right to safety, with your help we can make a difference in the lives of our community's most vulnerable children.
Anyone may attend or participate, from children to business owners; everyone fits the bill. For a suggested $5 donation, you can 'adopt a duck' for the day, and have a chance to win great prizes. YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE PRESENT TO WIN. Sponsorship and booth opportunities are also available with many benefits that include media exposure, recognition at the event, and much more!
